2013 SS Luis Guillorme has committed to State College of Florida (formerly Manatee Community College). Manatee is known as one of the best Junior College’s in the country and we feel they got one of the best SS in the country.
Luis has made a name for himself while with the Elite Squad with his unbelievable play at Shortstop. It wasn’t just the Elite Squad coaches and College Coaches that took notice. A Perfect Game Scout tweeted that they had a highlight counter during the WWBA World Championships for Luis because of the amount of plays he made during their events over the years. Luis not only did an amazing job with his glove for the Squad, but the last two summers he was amongst the top of the team with Avg, Runs Scored, Stolen Bases and OBP.
After watching Luis play the last few years there is no doubt he is one of, if not the best pure Shortstop’s to come out of the Elite Squad program and that’s a pretty respected list.
