2014 LHP Aaron Soto has comitted to the University of Tennessee!
Aaron Soto joined the Elite Squad last summer where he competed on the 17u Red team as one of the youngest players on the team. Aaron was constantly called upon in big situations out of the bullpen (bases loaded no outs, 1st and second one out, etc.) and time after time he came through. Aaron played a huge roll in the PG World Series Championship last summer as he came in a huge relief appearance in the 3rd game of the tournament to preserve the win for his squad. Only two days later Aaron took the ball to start for the Squad vs the ABD Bulldogs, win or tie you move on. Lose and you go home.
In typical Aaron Soto fashion, Aaron pitched a complete game 2 hit performance. Although he couldn’t pick up the W because of an un-earned run that resulted in a tie, the 1-1 tie allowed the Squad to win their pool and move on to what would be the first ever PG World Series Championship!
Aaron will once again be counted upon heavily this year.
Congratulations to Aaron and his family!!!!
