2015 3B Julian Infante has committed to Vanderbilt University!!!
Julian played his first summer with us on the 16u Slugger Squad this past year. Immediately his leadership presence was felt in the dugout and it quickly translated to the field. Julian was a big reason why the 16u team had so much success this summer. One of his most impressive moments of the summer was in the PG World Series in July. Facing elimination, and facing what was probably one of the most talented pitchers his team has matched up against this summer. Julian came up big for his teammates by blasting a home run in a dead locked 0-0 ball game over the left-center field fence at Terry Park. The Squad went on to win that game 1-0 and punched their ticket into the final four. To this day, if you ask those coaches that may have been the furthest ball they’ve seen an amateur hit. This was just one of the many instances Julian came through for his teammates and we are sure he will continue this at the next level wearing the Commodore uniform!
