Michael Schappell is in his 2nd year with the Elite Squad Program. Last year he was with the 16u Prime and pitched in several big games. This year, it was no different for his 17u Slugger team. He took on the role as the staff’s ace and had outstanding performances that got him noticed by several schools. Michael posted an 0.61 ERA and had 49 K’s in 34 innings of work.
Michael was also named MVPitcher at the Perfect Game Florida State Championships. He also made the all tournament team at the Perfect Game WWBA National Championships and BCS.
