We are excited to announce for the first time since Elite Squad started in 2009, we will carry teams 14u – 11u full time and expand our organization into youth baseball. Elite Squads goal every year with the older division is to expose our players to college recruiters and professional scouts as much as possible to obtain scholarships or improve draft status.
With our youth program, Elite Squad will take a different approach. The focus of Elite Squad’s Youth program will emphasize on development. We want to make a significant impact in the development of our players both on and off the field. Our goal for each player is to develop their skills and ability to better prepare them for the next level of baseball through proper training and the best competition available.
Our goal as an organization is to follow the same footsteps we did with our older players and put the best possible team on the field every season while also developing the players to eventually guide them through our high school program and obtain a college scholarship or beyond. The youth program will share the same benefits as our high school program does with our sponsors like Louisville Slugger and Under Armor.
Teams of the ages 14u – 10u will play year round. Tryouts will be conducted every August and January of each year. For more information on this years tryouts or to register please click the link below:
FAQ’s:
Will you have teams over the Fall & Spring, or are these only summer teams?
Yes, we plan on having our teams compete year round at the youth level. Our high school teams compete in the summer and then some fall ball due to HS baseball.
Will your teams play in the Premier League?
Yes, most of our teams will play in the Premier league. There are some exceptions (14u with a majority of players playing HS Fall Ball) that may limit league play but we will work around their schedule as well.
How many times a week will you practice?
A minimum of two practices per week. We will also mix in some games and tournaments. Please note that practices may vary depending on tournament schedule. Some weeks we may practice more than twice.
Where will your practices be held?
Most of our practices and home games will be held at West Pines Optimist in Pembroke Pines.
Who will be coaching the teams?
Our goal is to have our current High School staff involved as much as possible coaching each one of our teams. Each age group will have different coaches but all of them come with HS experience.
What are the cost involved?
Every team is different. Those players that make the team will called back for a meeting to discuss our plans and everything will be covered in that meeting.
