Elite Squad is proud to announce the expansion of its organization into Texas, The Midwest, West (Florida) and Palm Beach (Formerly North Division).
Over the past 8 years Elite Squad has helped place over 600 players in college with that number rapidly climbing every day. Elite Squad has teamed up with people and coaches who have the same mindset, beliefs and goals for players as we do and felt this was the perfect time to expand our reach and help players across the country of achieving their dream and goals of playing baseball at the next level.
In 2018 we will have divisions in Florida, Texas and the Midwest. Each one of these players will have the opportunity to play for what we call our “National Team” and compete in various national tournaments throughout the summer and fall seasons.
“I can’t begin to tell you how excited we are to announce our expansion. The idea has been tossed around for a few years but I wanted to wait until we had the right people to guide our players and help build our organization the right way before we made this commitment and effort to expand. I think with Joey (Texas) Ryan (MidWest) and Christian (West) we have found the right leaders and coaches to really help the players from those areas achieve playing at the next level.
I am also extremely excited about forming our National Teams. Although I still believe many players on our National Team will come from the State of Florida we saw first-hand what the help of kid like Chandler Freeman (TX) can do to your roster since he was a big part of capturing the WWBA Underclass Championship with our 2019’s this fall. If we can inject some talent from out of state with the type of core players we have from the state of Florida I think it’s going to be huge for our program but also for these kids. It’s good for them to get out of their comfort zone a little and play with players from different parts of the country. There is a lot they can learn from each other. Also, they will have to do that in college or in pro ball so why not get them used to that now? We’ve been fortunate with the few players that we’ve brought from out of state they have been an instant fit and have become good friends with the current players already. That’s a tribute to the new kids but also our current players welcoming them with open arms. Already we are projecting players from FL, Texas, California, Tennessee and maybe a few others + the players we pick from our tryouts to fill out our rosters this summer. We can’t wait” – Richie Palmer, Elite Squad Baseball President
Elite Squad’s first run at expansion came with “Elite Squad North” under the direction of Jimmy Beno in the summer of 2016 and after the first two seasons they’ve had over 20 players commit to play baseball at the collegiate level. We expect our partners to have the same positive influence as our first expansion did.
